Runners Eligible for the Jeff Johnston Award 2010  

The Jeff Johnston award is for the most improved finish time for a runner in two consecutive years. Runners must have finished the course under the clock to be eligible. It is named for Jeff because he had the most improved time from '07 to '08.

The '09 run was the first year this award was available. Tammy Parsons, 45 (NM)  won the Jeff Johnston in 2009. She shaved off 1:30:56 from her '08 finish time. Two other runners both ran over an hour faster in '09 than in '08: John Harrington, 46 (NM) and Beverly Schulz, 66 (AZ).
